Assistant Equipment Manager – Part-Time, Stetson University

Assist in the day-to-day equipment operations for all 18 Division 1 sports. This person is responsible for being a flex position between football and baseball’s equipment needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist coaches and student-athletes with equipment needs 
• Prepare all relevant teams for game day with jersey issuance and retrieval 
• Help set up and run the Coach-Comm coaches headset communication system on gamedays 
• Assist the head equipment manager by traveling to football games and helping with all equipment needs 
• Keep athletes safe through routine equipment maintenance 
• Performs other site and position-specific functions as assigned 

• Must have knowledge of football equipment, safety standards, and proper maintenance of such equipment 
• Must have experience in laundry services and stain removal as well as knowledge of laundry chemicals and safety procedures 
• Must have knowledge of college athletics and equipment operations 

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Knowledge of Division I Athletic programs
