Behind the scenes of our 19 competing NCAA Division I sports is a team of dedicated professionals who strive
to create the electrifying environment that is Jackrabbit Athletics. We are currently seeking a customer focused,
dependable and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment/Laundry Room Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities: Provide support for men’s athletic sports programs. Prepare athletic teams for travel;
launder athletic apparel and towels; make repairs as necessary; issue equipment and assist with inventory and
ordering of athletic equipment following NCAA/conference/SDSU brand and rules related to orders/logo usage;
provide customer service to outside public and students by answering questions and supervise student workers
and assist as necessary at events.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Equipment needed/used in athletic sports.
Budgeting, inventory maintenance and ordering
Computer software and systems
Housekeeping and laundry practices
General maintenance practices
Customer service practices.
Skill & Ability to:
Provide excellent customer service to staff, faculty, and students.
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Develop good working relationships with coaches and students.
Manage time efficiently.
Multi-task and balance competing project.
Work independently
Comments: This position supervises athletic equipment areas and locker rooms during events. Requirements of
this position include weekend and holiday availability, balancing, bending, stooping, twisting, carrying,
climbing ladders, climbing stairs, crawling, crouching, ability to lift up to 50lbs, kneeling, and standing for
