Equipment Stores Specialist, Football and Olympic Sports, Internship—Missouri State University

General Function:

The equipment stores specialist intern will assist with laundry of practice gear and uniforms, inventory management, issuing of equipment and apparel, storing of equipment, assisting with ordering of practice gear, assisting with the safety standards of monitoring equipment, assisting with supervising student managers, field setup and preparation and assisting the full time equipment stores specialist with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years experience working in a collegiate athletic equipment room is preferred. Experience managing team laundry.

Skills: Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time. Experience working with computerized inventory-control software preferred.

Supervision: Reports directly to the full time Equipment Stores Specialist.

This position is non-paid. Must complete a background check prior to starting position.
