2020 Ft. Worth Convention and Exam

Mon, 16 March 2020 / Published in Featured Story

To All AEMA Members;

Do to the current health issues and travel restrictions that most if not all of us are presently under I, along with the Vote of the Board, have decided to cancel this year's convention in Fort Worth.

If you have already paid you Convention Fees ($75) we can either let the fee roll over to the 2021 Convention in Atlanta or we will refund your money as quickly as possible.

Please remember that you still need to pay your membership fee!

If you have registered to take the Certification Exam we will try our best to make some options available to you:

1. You can possibly take the exam at the AFCA Convention in Nashville in January 2021.

2. You can possibly take the exam in Raleigh, NC in January or February of 2021.

3. If the travel restrictions on the members of the testing committee are lifted and they have the time we will schedule testing later this summer.

Please know that the AEMA will try our very best to make the exam available as soon as possible.

For all members we will be extending the Certifiction Window for one extra year. The present window closes on June 30, 2021 BUT now the window will remain open until June 30, 2022.

I am sorry for any problems this decision may cause you but know that this is a National Issue and these are unusual times!

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
