Campbell University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Graduate Assistant, Football Equipment beginning Fall 2022. This position will directly report to the Head Football Equipment Manager and serve as the number two contact for all things football equipment.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Football Equipment Manager with ordering, receiving, and issuing of team gear and apparel, the fitting and maintenance of athletic equipment, and the overall operations of the football equipment room. This position will oversee daily operations of the football laundry room, direct practice and game field set up, and supervise student managers. There will be other duties as assigned.
All policies set forth by the Campbell Football program, Campbell University, as well as rules and regulations of the NCAA and Big South are to be adhered to by this position.
Minimum requirements:
-College graduate with the ability to earn acceptance into a Campbell University graduate program.
-Prior work experience in a collegiate or professional equipment room.
-Nights, weekends, and travel are required of this position.
Position covers tuition and fees, as well as a stipend for each Fall and Spring semester of approximately $4,800. Ten (10) meal swipes per week are also included for use at several dining options on campus. In addition, there is opportunity to earn Federal work study pay.
