Job Description:
This individual will be the lead equipment manager in handling all operations related to the football
program. This involves the ordering, tracking and receiving of equipment and apparel for the football
program. Individual will be responsible for the fiscal management of the football equipment budget,
along with the manager of all sport equipment budgets; purchases equipment and supplies needed,
receives shipment of goods, reconciles vendor billings with goods received and approves payments of
bills; responsible for operating within a budget set by the Athletic Business & Finance Office. Coordinate
and participate in the issuance/retrieval of athletic clothing and equipment; make sure all inventory is
up to date and accounted for. Research and maintain safety standards in regards to helmet and
shoulder pad safety along with proper sizing and fitting of these items. This individual is responsible for
all practice and game day setup as required by head football coach and/or delegate. This individual
works with an outside vendor in regards to equipment transport to all away competition dates per
current year schedule. Understands and follows the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Conference and
University Policies & Procedures.
Additional duties include:
Responsible for the purchasing of equipment and apparel, inventory, storage, and care of all equipment
related to FAU athletic team operations.
Direct, plan, organize and implement the equipment room functions. This includes ordering, sizing,
issuing, and overseeing all Football and other sport needs.
Oversee the entire equipment room budget which includes all Olympic sports, maintenance issues, and
inventory.
Assist with the tracking and planning of the football equipment budget.
Facilitate and oversee the day-to-day functionalities and purchases with Adidas.
