Position Function
Supervise and oversee the purchase and fiscal control of game and sports equipment and apparel for Football. Research vendor products and make equipment and apparel recommendations. Manage vendor relationships and serve as he main contact for all purchases. Oversee equipment inventory, distribution and related tax reporting. Directly supervise staff and student employees.
Minimum Education
Associate’s degree or equivalent in related area from an accredited institution; Athletic Equipment Manager Association (AEMA) certified or willing to work toward certification; must possess valid driver’s license.
Minimum Experience
Over one year through three years of related experience.

Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Experience
Working knowledge of procedures involved in the fitting, maintenance and repair of athletic supplies and equipment; familiarity with Coach Com headsets.

Assign and review work, orient and train staff, and make recommendations as to interviewing and selection, performance, appraisal, and discipline. Make staffing decisions and assignments for football events.
