RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision from a designated athletic supervisor, to prepare and set-up football facilities and equipment; to issue, receive, care for and disseminate practice and competition uniforms and equipment for the football team and to assist with or perform routine fitting and maintenance of the football athletic equipment. Some work will be outdoors and must be able to move heavy travel cases, bags, and additional equipment as needed. Some nights and weekends required.

HOURLY WAGE: $15.00- $16.50 (Anticipated starting salary of $15.00) OVERTIME IS APART OF THIS POSITION

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years (36 months) of experience in the repair and maintenance of athletic equipment and uniforms at the high school or college level.
- Possession of a valid State of Illinois driver’s license, the class of the license depending on the type of the vehicle(s) to be operated.

In order to be considered for employment, the degree must be conferred at the time of application, unless applicant is in the final semester of a degree program; if so, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment. For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body).
