Florida Atlantic University is looking to hire an Assistant Equipment Manager for the football program. Reporting directly to the Head Equipment Manager, the Assistant Equipment manager will work in collaboration with Equipment, Football Operations, Recruiting, Sports Medicine, Strength and Conditioning, and Coaching staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Equipment Room.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Participates in daily operation of Football Equipment Room
-Oversite over daily laundry operations
-Maintaining an accurate Equipment Room inventory
-Distribution and retainment of both expendable and non-expendable athletic equipment
-Daily practice set-up and breakdown
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelors degree and a minimum of four years working at the collegiate or professional level (individuals with only student manager or part-time experience will still be considered)
-Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
-Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, publisher, etc.)
-Knowledge and experience working with CoachCommX and Tempo systems
-AEMA certified or working towards AEMA certification within a year of employment
Compensation: Full benefits with $43,888 annual salary
