Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Equipment Operations and
Purchasing, the Assistant Equipment Manager supports equipment operations
for all intercollegiate programs.
This position requires frequent travel, as well as evening and weekend hours.


Essential Functions
 Assists the Assistant Athletic Director for Equipment and Purchasing in the
equipment support operations for 22 intercollegiate programs. Primary
equipment manager for approximately 40-50% of the programs.

 Responsible for leading, directing, and supervising student managers and
athletic department interns.
 Leads in the set-up of equipment for football practices. Attends all football
practices and oversees the breakdown of equipment after practices and
games.
 Assists in the set-up and retrieval of equipment and uniforms for both
home and away football games, and attends all home and away football
games.
 Assists in the fitting and necessary adjustments needed for uniforms and
athletic equipment for practices and games.
 Assists in purchasing, fittings, storage, cleaning, and inventory
management of all uniforms, practice gear, and equipment for all sports.
 Assists in laundry operations for practice apparel and uniforms.
 Assists with apparel embellishment in coordination with team staff and in
compliance with brand guidelines.
 Assists with invoicing for expenses related to team equipment and
embellishment.
 Communicates ideas and information effectively to coaches, staff, and
athletes.
 Fully complies with all University policies and procedures, NCAA, Atlantic
10, and Patriot League rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant experience.


Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
 Extremely well organized and highly motivated with strong interpersonal
and communication skills.
 Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
 Valid NYS Driver’s license.
 Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to
the goals of Jesuit Education.


Preferred Qualifications

 Bachelor’s Degree.
 Intercollegiate athletic department equipment room experience.
Minimum Starting Salary: $62,400
Maximum Starting Salary: $66,586
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
