Position Summary:
The Assistant Equipment Manager reports to the Executive Senior Associate Director of Athletics
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of athletic equipment management for all programs
- Inventory and control of ordering and cataloging of equipment
- Receive and inspect all new equipment
- Repair, modify, and/or maintain all equipment
- Comply with requests for the issuance of all equipment
- Conduct all retrieval, adjustment, and removal of equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of University, Sun Belt Conference, and NCAA rules and procedures
Proficiency in written and oral communication
Interact with a diverse set of coaches and support staff, as well as the business community
General Days/Hours:
Monday – Friday
40+ hours per week
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

The assistant equipment manager has contact with student-athletes, athletics personnel, as well as with students and institutional administrative personnel
Travel to conferences and professional development sessions
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in Intercollegiate Athletics
