DIRECTOR OF EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS (OLYMPIC)  – FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

Florida Atlantic University is looking to hire a Director of Equipment Operations for Olympic Sports. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Olympic Equipment will oversee the operation of the Tom Oxley Equipment Room which services 15 Division I intercollegiate sports. This position will have the opportunity to hire an intern upon starting the position. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Direct contact with administrators, head coaches, and operations staff

-Oversee equipment intern and student workers

-Maintaining an accurate Equipment Room inventory

-Distribution and retainment of both expendable and non-expendable athletic equipment

-Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelors degree and a minimum of four years working at the collegiate or professional level (individuals with only student manager or part-time experience will still be considered)

-Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

-Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, publisher, etc.)

-AEMA certified or working towards AEMA certification within a year of employment

Compensation: Full benefits with $50,000 annual salary
