JOB TITLE:
University of Wyoming Athletics Equipment Room Intern
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Equipment Intern. The Equipment Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our athletic department. Will primarily work with football during the fall and olympic sports in the spring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will be overseeing practices, laundry, and students. Assisting with shipping, inventory, safety equipment, apparel, and some vendor relations. Experience with assisting with orders, budgeting, and much more.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 2-3 years’ experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in equipment management or athletics administration is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coaches, athletes, and vendors.
- A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak athletic seasons.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and inventory
management software.
