The Professional Football Equipment Managers Society (PFEMS) is pleased to announce the continuation of its scholarship program to support and encourage undergraduate students in the equipment managing field. Following a remarkably successful previous 2 years with the scholarship, we are excited to have the opportunity to help up and coming student equipment managers. These awards will be set to start in the 2026-2027 academic year through the PFEMS general fund.
Aims– The principal aim of this scholarship program is to offer financial support to current junior and senior undergraduate student managers. As well as encourage hardworking and deserving students to continue their passion for equipment managing.
Scholarship award amount- The total distribution amount for 2026-2027 will be $1,000 scholarships awarded on a one-time basis. In the previous year we initially decided to award 5 scholarships but there were too many students to narrow it down to only 5, so we awarded 8 scholarships to deserving student equipment managers.
Use of scholarships– Scholarship awarded may be applied towards tuition and fees.
Basis of award– The scholarship committee will make the final selection of students to receive a scholarship based on their review of the application form, video, transcript, and resume. The scholarships will be awarded primarily based on experience in equipment managing, academic qualifications; career goals, and projects/accomplishments. Former scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply, however, former applicants may reapply providing they still meet the application requirements
