This is a full-time position with a hiring range of $19-$21 an hour.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations, the Equipment & Event Operations Manager directs and manages the utilization of equipment for Intercollegiate Athletics. This individual is also responsible for preparing areas (indoor and out) for practices, scheduled athletic contests, and designated special functions.


Specific functions include but are not limited to:
 Inventorying, storing, issuing, and collecting athletic/physical education equipment (includes packing
of individual and team travel bags, keeping accurate up-to-date records and files).
 Adhering to OSHA requirements, and NCAA regulations with regards to equipment safety.
 Receiving and verifying invoices of ordered equipment upon arrival and notifying appropriate personnel.
 Assembling and repairing equipment.
 Washing and drying athletic game and practice equipment items.
 Prepare cost estimate for supplies and equipment required for program operations.
 Abiding by the code of ethics and policies set forth by McDaniel College and the NCAA.
 Adhering to all NCAA, Centennial Conference, ECAC and sport rules and regulations.
