UAB Athletics is seeking a hard-working, dedicated, and self-motivated individual that is
looking to further develop their equipment management skills. This is a hybrid position that
will work with both Football and Olympic Sports year-round. This is a one-year position with
the potential option to extend to a second year.
Job duties and responsibilities: Football
- Assist with the preparation and travel to all home and away games
- Assist with daily practice responsibilities
- Oversee C2P responsibilities
- Supervise students on a day-to-day basis
- Assist with the fitting and maintenance of equipment and apparel
- Assist with daily equipment needs of coaches and players
- Assist with the inventory and organization of equipment
- Oversee all aspects of recruiting
- Other duties as assigned
Job duties and responsibilities: Olympics - Assist with locker room setup for all Olympic Teams
- Serve as the primary contact for the Bowling, Men’s & Women’s Tennis, and Rifle
teams - Assist with the ordering and procurement of apparel and equipment
- Oversee laundry responsibilities and scheduling
- Assist with the inventory and organization of equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the position:
- At least 2 years of experience in a college/professional equipment room
- Recently graduated from college or in the last semester of college
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated interest in the equipment profession
Anticipated start date: May-June 2025
Salary: $25,000/year
