Overview

Riddell and AEMA are partnering to launch a new Career Boost Program designed to support the career journey of three aspiring professional equipment managers. As part of the program, Riddell will provide each of the three recipients with an expense-paid business trip to the annual AEMA convention, secure networking opportunities for them while on-site including honoring each at the sponsored reception and cover the AEMA in-person certification test fees. Recipients will also receive a $1000 equipment grant in their name for their program.

Qualifications

The three scholarships will be earmarked for non-certified, graduate equipment managers with at least one year of experience working within any sport:

• Diverse recipient
• Female recipient
• Demonstrated need for recipient

Timeline

• October: Scholarship application opens on Monday, October 24
• December: Application window closes on Friday, December 2
• January: Recipients will be announced
• June: Host recipients at AEMA June 4-7

The application window for the 2022 Riddell AEMA Scholarship closed December 2. Recipients will be notified on Monday, January 9.
