Seattle Seahawks: Seasonal Equipment Intern
General Description: The Seattle Seahawks Equipment staff is seeking self-motivated,
hardworking, detailed oriented, and dedicated individuals. Offering the opportunity to gain
knowledge through hands-on experience working in professional sports.
Duration: Early April 2024 -April 2025
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the inventory for player, team, and equipment needs.
Organize all aspects of the equipment/locker rooms.
Assist with laundry services.
Set up and clean home and away locker room.
Assist coaches during drill work during practice.
Set up and break down practice fields.
Assisting helmet/shoulder pad maintenance.
Maintain, issue, and RFID tag all player footwear.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Recent college graduate or currently enrolled in a 4-year degree seeking institution.
Experience in sports as a player or a manager is highly recommended.
Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
Interns will be expected to work 65+ hours/week, including
Effective communication skills in high pressure situations.
The ideal candidate must be a leader that works well with others.
Must be self-motivated/eager to assist with all tasks.
Must have organizational skills with attention to details at a high level.
Must have a selfless-team player mentality.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with working knowledge of SportsSoft Inventory
