The Professional Football Equipment Managers Society (PFEMS) is pleased to announce the formation of its scholarship program to support and encourage undergraduate students in the equipment management field. The awarding of this scholarship will start in the 2024-2025 academic year through the PFEMS general fund.
Applications must be submitted on or before February 16th, 2024.
The principal aim of this scholarship program is to offer financial support to rising sophomore and above undergraduate student managers. As well as to encourage hardworking and deserving students to continue their passion for equipment management.
Scholarship award amount
The total distribution amount for 2024–2025 will be five $1,000 scholarships awarded on a one-time basis.
Use of scholarship
Scholarship awarded may be applied towards any tuition and fees.
Basis of award
The scholarship committee will finalize the selection of scholarship recipients based on a comprehensive review of each applicant’s application form, video, and resume.
The scholarships will be awarded primarily based on all of the following:
- experience managing equipment
- academic qualifications
- career goals
- projects/accomplishments.
Applicants must be at least rising sophomores, enrolled as full-time students in a four-year college or university.
Applicants must be current student managers actively working in an equipment room.
Former scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply; however, former applicants may reapply providing they still meet the application requirements.
