William & Mary Football Assistant is a part-time assistant for football equipment and baseball (Spring). This position will report to the Director Athletic Equipment Services, the Equipment Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily management of the football equipment room but is focused primarily on helping with the preparation of games and practices. In the spring, this position will also assist with baseball game set-up and laundry.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for daily laundering and storage of all practice and game uniforms.
- Supervise and direct student workers assisting the Equipment Staff.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all equipment and apparel for all sports working out of Kaplan Arena and the Jimmye Laycock Football Center.
- Pack and unpack for away games, arranging for transportation of equipment.
- Clean and repair equipment as needed and assist in the upkeep of fields and facilities.
- Assistant driver for equipment trucks during road trips.
