Position Title: Equipment Manager

Hours: Part-Time Monday-Friday (Early Afternoon and Early Evening)

Salary: $55,000.00 – $58,000.00

Summary Description:

Buckingham Browne & Nichols School seeks an Athletics Equipment Manager to support BB&N’s athletic

program. The Equipment Manager will work closely with the leadership of the Athletics department to help

ensure that policies and procedures are developed and implemented to purchase, maintain, and track equipment.

In addition, the person in this position will oversee the laundering of uniforms, supplies, and equipment, staying

up to date on industry standards and best practices. The Equipment Manager will also lead in site supervision of

the athletic building during the afternoon and early evening athletic period. They will support the athletic

philosophy of BB&N.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Key functions for this position include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement equipment management policies and procedures.

Ensure all teams have properly fitted apparel and gear for practice and competitions that comply with

safety regulations.

Collaborate with coaches on equipment needs.

Oversee the replacement, use, condition, inspections, and purchase of uniforms, equipment, and

supplies, and meet safety standards.

Manage uniforms, laundry, and other team-related equipment.

Issue, clean, collect, and store uniforms, supplies, and equipment.

Develop and manage a budget for equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs.

Track and maintain records of all equipment and uniforms, including purchasing new items and

managing inventory levels.

Perform minor equipment repairs and arrange for major repairs.

Stay up to date on industry best practices and new technologies.

Coordinate with equipment and uniform vendors.

Oversee game day setup of fields, courts, and rink.
